Think Playgrounds! was founded as a volunteer group in 2014 with the mission to promote children’s right to play by collaborating with multidisciplinary partners & communities.

As a social & design organisation we build playgrounds, community gardens & sustainable public spaces.

Sustainable Development Goals

The benefits of increasing access to public space & playgrounds brings health to a whole generation as active playing offers the development of emotional, social, cognitive, creative & communication skills.

Furthermore, the whole community is strengthened as a result of participatory consultation & building of the playgrounds themselves. Allowing for a sense of ownership when spending time together post-construction.

Think Playgrounds designs are increasingly catering to people with disabilities & are accessible to all.

The use of recycled materials raises awareness of the need to protect the environment.

Public space in Vietnam is composed of many specific characteristics due to its unique historical, social and environmental context.

At Think Playgrounds we strive to inform our projects and designs with research and expertise from around the world. We therefore participate in many academic studies with ongoing collaborations with visiting and local Universities.
