Community Co-design

“Co-design” refers to a participatory approach to finding solutions where stakeholders & community members are treated as equal collaborators in the design process. 

Think Playgrounds often uses co-design principles in order to develop public space projects with the community themselves. Capacity building & sensations of ownership are also created by inviting the public to build & operate the spaces.

TPG also offer opportunity for volunteers, students & children to join the community in the whole process of placemaking.

This results in long term partnerships with civil society associations & the sustainability of each project.
